Veterans One Stop Response to Coronavirus Pandemic
Veterans One Stop is here to serve!
We are receiving guidance from the local health department as well as the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and will be putting in place some protective measures during the COVID-19 Emergency. Agencies, including MVPN, located at the Veterans One Stop will continue to provide services, however, will be available by appointment only. Individuals will be able to call to schedule their appointments and use of waiting areas will be limited to those individuals who are scheduled to receive services.
Our weekly Wednesday breakfast and lunch meals will be postponed until further notice. Also, any groups that meet with more than 10 people will be postponed as well. This includes EOAC Budget Class, Anger Management Group, Bible Study, and the Baylor Law Veterans Clinic.
MVPN services may include 30 minute appointments to use our library, computer lab, media room, pool hall, gym, shower room, or meet with the MVPN coordinators. The last appointments can be made by 4pm. Our normal laundry appointments of 2 hours per person are still in effect, with the last appointment being made at 2pm. Please check in at the front desk to schedule.
Our counselors and McLennan County Veteran Service Officers (VSOs) are available via telephone. Please call our main office number listed below and you will be transferred to the appropriate staff members who are working remotely.
The Veterans One Stop mission is to provide meaningful services to those who are in need while maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patrons and staff.
